2.1. Childhood and early training
Iquezang Kor.Rungthanakeat was born Chamnan Khaengkhan on October 6, 1989, in Sikhoraphum District, Surin Province, Thailand. He is the second of four children to his parents, Boon Song and Supin. Iquezang began his journey in Muay Thai at the tender age of 10. His initial training was guided by Pairoj Wor. Walapol, who served as his first boxing coach. For his very first fight, he received a modest fee of 150 THB, marking the beginning of his professional career in combat sports.
3. Muay Thai career
Iquezang Kor.Rungthanakeat's Muay Thai career spans several years, marked by numerous fights across various prestigious stadiums in Thailand and internationally, culminating in significant championship achievements and extensive participation in major promotional events like Thai Fight.

3.1. Early career and rise to prominence
Iquezang's early professional career saw him compete at various notable venues. On September 19, 2009, he faced Pujaa Sor.Suwannee at Omnoi Stadium in the "Chao Muay Thai" event, where he suffered a TKO loss in the fourth round. He also competed at Rajadamnern Stadium, including a main event fight on September 2, 2010, against Saksurin Cafefarsai in the 137 lbs category, an opponent he had previously encountered at Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in the same year. Iquezang also contended for the Thailand championship in the 140 lbs division against Bakjo Kiatchoothai at the Lumpinee Champion Kerkkrai event on September 3, 2010.
A significant win came on December 24, 2010, in Surin Province at the "Sor. Ka Kan Ngern Larn" event, where he defeated Kaew Fairtex by points, with the event generating a gate revenue of 126.40 K THB. Earlier in his career, on March 31, 2008, Iquezang secured a decision victory over Lerdsila Chumpairtour at Rajadamnern Stadium. The final of the Fuktien Group 4th tournament took place on July 23, 2011, where Iquezang met Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong once again. In 2017, Iquezang began competing in the Lethwei circuit in Myanmar, transitioning from his primary focus on Muay Thai. His Lethwei record stands at 0 wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws. His first Lethwei bouts, held in 2017, were draws against Burmese fighters: Phyan Thway on July 16 at the Myanmar vs. Thailand Challenge Fights in Yangon, and Saw Gaw Mu Do on March 19 at Lethwei Fight 2, also in Yangon.
On August 5, 2018, he was invited to face the formidable Burmese fighter Soe Lin Oo under traditional Lethwei rules at Thein Pyu Stadium in Yangon. In a challenging bout, Soe Lin Oo delivered a flurry of punches that resulted in a knockout victory over Iquezang at two minutes and 22 seconds into the third round. Iquezang's second Lethwei loss occurred on November 9, 2019, when he was knocked out by Thway Thit Win Hlaing in the fourth round at the 64th Kayin State Day event in Hpa-an, Myanmar.

His fighting moniker, "Iquezang," is famously derived from the Japanese animated character Ikkyū-san (一休さんJapanese).
