Tomáš Šimkovič (born 16 April 1987) is an Austrian footballer who primarily plays as a midfielder. Throughout his professional career, Šimkovič has played for several notable clubs across Europe, including FK Austria Wien in his home country, FC Tobol and FC Aktobe in the Kazakhstan Premier League, and FK Žalgiris in Lithuania. He later moved to Latvia to play for FK RFS (also known as Rīgas FS) before joining First Vienna FC back in Austria and then returning to RFS. His career highlights include winning individual awards such as the A Lyga Team of the Year and A Lyga Player of the Month.

Tomáš Šimkovič was born on 16 April 1987. He holds Austrian nationality and pursued a career in professional football from a young age.
3. Club career
Šimkovič began his professional career in Austria, notably playing for FK Austria Wien. During his time with Austria Wien from the 2011-12 season to the 2013-14 season, he made 51 league appearances, scoring six goals, and also featured in domestic cup and continental competitions.
On 1 February 2014, Šimkovič moved to Kazakhstan, signing a two-year contract with Kazakhstan Premier League club FC Tobol. He spent several seasons with Tobol, making 87 league appearances and scoring 18 goals by mid-2017. His contributions included participating in the Kazakhstan Cup during his tenure with the club.
On 17 June 2017, Šimkovič transferred to another Kazakh club, FC Aktobe. He played 14 league matches for Aktobe during the 2017 season, scoring five goals.
Following his time in Kazakhstan, Šimkovič moved to Lithuania, signing with FK Žalgiris on 3 February 2018. He spent the 2018 season with Žalgiris, where his performance earned him significant individual recognition.
In February 2019, Šimkovič joined Rīgas FS (now known as FK RFS), a club based in Latvia. He continued his career with the Latvian side for several years. In January 2022, he returned to his home country, Austria, to join First Vienna FC. After a period with First Vienna FC, he rejoined the Latvian club FK RFS.
