3. Club Career

3.1. Ruch Chorzów
Sobiech started his professional career at Ruch Chorzów in 2008. He spent four years with the club, making 47 league appearances and scoring 12 goals. Overall, he played 58 matches and scored 15 goals for Ruch Chorzów, including 4 appearances and 1 goal in the UEFA Europa League.
3.2. Polonia Warsaw
In July 2010, Sobiech transferred to Polonia Warsaw for a fee of 1.00 M EUR. During his time at Polonia, he was recognized as the Ekstraklasa Discovery of the Year. He made 23 league appearances, scoring 9 goals, and played a total of 27 matches, also scoring 9 goals.

3.3. Hannover 96
On 30 June 2011, Sobiech moved to German Bundesliga club Hannover 96, signing an initial contract until June 2014. In May 2013, he extended his contract with the club until 30 June 2017. 3.5. Lechia Gdańsk
On 9 August 2018, Sobiech returned to Polish football, signing a three-year contract with Lechia Gdańsk. In his first season, he was often the second-choice forward behind Flávio Paixão. He started his season strongly by scoring a hat-trick against Zagłębie Lubin. Despite this impressive start, he managed to score only four more league goals in his subsequent 23 games. However, he performed notably better in the Polish Cup that season, scoring three goals in four games, including the decisive goal in the 2019 Polish Cup final against Jagiellonia Białystok, securing the trophy for Lechia. His contributions were crucial in Lechia achieving their joint-highest league finish (third place) in their history and winning the cup. The following season, the 2019-20 campaign, also started well for Sobiech and Lechia, with Sobiech coming on as a substitute as Lechia won the Polish Super Cup. In total, Sobiech made 52 appearances and scored 16 goals for Lechia Gdańsk during a successful period in the club's modern history.
3.6. Fatih Karagümrük
During the winter break of the 2019-20 season, Sobiech left Lechia Gdańsk to join Fatih Karagümrük in Turkey. He initially played in the TFF First League, the second tier of Turkish football. He made 17 appearances and scored 7 goals in the 2019-20 season. In the 2020-21 season, he played in the Süper Lig, the top Turkish league, making 34 appearances and scoring 9 goals. On 29 June 2021, Sobiech returned to Polish football once more, signing a two-year contract with Lech Poznań. He was primarily brought in as a backup for the club's captain, Mikael Ishak. His playing time was somewhat limited due to health issues, including a knee injury suffered during the winter break of the 2023-24 season which prevented him from making any appearances that year. Despite challenges, he contributed to the club's Ekstraklasa championship victory in the 2021-22 campaign. He also notably scored the third goal in Lech's 2-3 away win against Italian side Fiorentina in a UEFA Europa Conference League quarter-final match on 20 April 2023. On 23 May 2024, Lech Poznań announced that Sobiech would leave the club at the end of the season. During his time at Lech Poznań, he made 38 league appearances, scoring 3 goals, and a total of 54 appearances with 5 goals across all competitions. He also played for Lech Poznań II, the reserve team, in the II liga, making 5 appearances and scoring 2 goals.
