Pérez was promoted to the Argentinos Juniors first-team squad under manager Alfredo Berti during the 2017-18 Argentine Primera División season. He made his senior debut in a Copa Argentina match against Independiente de Chivilcoy on 9 May 2018. In July of the same year, Pérez was signed by La Liga club Atlético Madrid. Following his transfer, he was immediately loaned back to Argentinos Juniors for the 2018-19 Argentine Primera División season. Throughout his tenure at Atlético Madrid, Pérez did not make any competitive first-team appearances for the club.
