1. Club career
Dariusz Dudka's club career spanned over two decades, featuring stints with multiple Polish and foreign clubs, showcasing his versatility and consistency across various defensive and midfield roles.
1.1. Early career
Born in Kostrzyn nad Odrą, Dudka began his football journey at his hometown club, Celuloza Kostrzyn. He later moved to Amica Wronki, where he made his professional debut in the Ekstraklasa on 4 April 2000. He remained with Amica Wronki until 2005, making 93 league appearances before his transfer to Wisła Kraków.
1.2. Wisła Kraków (first stint)
In 2005, Dudka joined Wisła Kraków, a prominent club in Poland's top league. During his initial period at Wisła Kraków, he made 77 league appearances and contributed significantly to the team's success. His versatility, allowing him to play in various positions, was highly valued, and he played a crucial role in Wisła Kraków winning the 2007-08 Ekstraklasa title.
1.3. Foreign league experiences
Following his successful spell at Wisła Kraków, Dudka moved to France in June 2008, joining Ligue 1 side Auxerre. He spent four seasons with Auxerre, making 110 league appearances and scoring 6 goals. After his time in France, he moved to Levante in Spain on a free transfer for the 2012-13 season, where he made 3 appearances.
In October 2013, after a trial, Dudka signed a two-month contract with English Championship club Birmingham City. He made two appearances for the club, with his last match on 7 December. He reportedly found the pace of the Championship surprising and left Birmingham City when his contract expired.
1.4. Return to Polish league
After his brief stint in England, Dudka returned to the Polish Ekstraklasa, rejoining Wisła Kraków for a second spell in the 2013-14 season. He played for Wisła Kraków until 2015, adding another 46 league appearances to his record. Following this, he transferred to Lech Poznań in 2015, where he made 9 league appearances and helped the team win the 2015 Polish Super Cup.
1.5. Later career and retirement
Dudka concluded his professional playing career with Lech Poznań II, the reserve team of Lech Poznań, which competed in the III liga. He played for Lech Poznań II from 2016 to 2019. During his time with the reserve squad, he made 3 appearances in the 2016-17 season, 28 appearances and 5 goals in the 2017-18 season, and 25 appearances and 5 goals in the 2018-19 season. In his final season, he contributed to Lech Poznań II winning the III liga, group II title in 2018-19. His playing career officially ended after the 2018-19 season.

2. International career
Dariusz Dudka represented the Poland national team from 2004 to 2012, earning 65 caps and scoring 2 goals. He debuted for the national team in 2004 as a backup player. He was part of the Polish squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro 2008, and UEFA Euro 2012. After the 2006 FIFA World Cup, under the management of Leo Beenhakker, Dudka was converted to a centre half, a position where he found new success.
3. Post-playing career
After retiring as a professional footballer, Dariusz Dudka transitioned into a coaching role. He currently serves as an assistant coach for Lech Poznań, the same club where he ended his senior playing career.

Dariusz Dudka was renowned for his exceptional versatility on the pitch. He could effectively play in various defensive and midfield positions, including defensive midfielder, full-back, and centre-back.
