Bujdoso demonstrated considerable talent from a young age, even while still competing in the Cadets category. During the 2005-06 season, she achieved a significant milestone by winning the Junior Fencing World Cup. In the same period, she secured a bronze medal at the Klagenfurt World Cup. Her success extended to the senior circuit, where she reached the quarter-finals at the 2006 World Championships held in Turin. Following these performances, she attained her career-best senior world ranking of 11th by the end of that season.
