1.1. Youth Clubs and Academy
Liam Fraser began his youth soccer journey with local clubs such as Waterloo United, Peach Arch AC, and Surrey Guildford. He was part of the Vancouver Whitecaps FC Residency program until January 2013. He then transferred to the Toronto FC Academy, a move he made due to a perceived lack of opportunities within the Whitecaps organization. In 2015, Fraser represented the TFC Academy in both League1 Ontario and the Premier Development League.
2. Professional Club Career
Fraser's professional career spans several clubs across different leagues, including Major League Soccer in North America and leagues in Belgium and England.
2.1. Toronto FC II
In 2015, Fraser was called up to Toronto FC II, the reserve team for Toronto FC, and made 10 appearances during the 2015 USL season. His professional debut occurred on June 6, 2015, in a goalless draw against Harrisburg City Islanders. On February 9, 2016, he officially signed his first professional contract, joining Toronto FC II on a permanent basis for the 2016 USL season. In 2017, there were rumors of a potential first-team deal with Toronto FC, and Fraser was recognized as #15 on the USL's annual "20 Under 20" list. During the 2017 offseason, he also trained with the Danish club HB Køge. Following the 2017 season, Toronto FC II exercised the option on his contract for the 2018 season.
2.2. Toronto FC

Fraser officially signed with Toronto FC as a homegrown player on January 19, 2018. He made his debut for the senior team on April 14, 2018, in a Major League Soccer match against the Colorado Rapids. Toronto FC exercised his contract option for the 2020 season, ensuring his continued presence with the club.
2.3. Columbus Crew (loan)
On May 3, 2021, Fraser was loaned to fellow MLS side Columbus Crew SC for the remainder of the 2021 season. As part of the loan agreement, Toronto FC received 50.00 K USD in General Allocation Money.
2.4. Deinze
In January 2022, Fraser transferred to Deinze, a club in the Belgian First Division B, signing a two-and-a-half-year contract. He made his debut for the Belgian club on February 9, 2022, in a match against Westerlo.
2.5. FC Dallas
In August 2023, Fraser made a return to Major League Soccer, transferring to FC Dallas. He debuted for the club on August 30, 2023, coming on as a substitute for Paxton Pomykal against St. Louis City SC. In November 2023, FC Dallas announced they had exercised the option on Fraser's contract, extending his stay. However, his contract was not renewed at the end of the 2024 season.
2.6. Crawley Town
On February 3, 2024, Liam Fraser signed with EFL League One club Crawley Town, marking his move to English football.
3. International Career
Liam Fraser has represented Canada at both youth and senior international levels, participating in various camps, friendlies, and major tournaments.
3.1. Youth International Career
Fraser received his first call-up to the Under-20 Development Camp squad in Ontario in September 2015, though he did not feature under coach Rob Gale. He was again called up for the Under-20 International Camp squad in England in March 2016 but did not make his international debut at that time. In August 2016, he was selected for the U-20 team for two friendly matches against Costa Rica. In February 2017, Fraser was named to Canada's roster for the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. On February 26, 2020, he was included in the Canadian U-23 provisional roster for the 2020 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship.
3.2. Senior National Team
After receiving multiple camp call-ups in 2018 and 2019, Fraser made his debut for the Canadian senior team on October 15, 2019. He entered as a substitute in a 2-0 victory against the United States. In November 2022, Fraser was named to Canada's squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Upon the announcement of his selection, he became visibly emotional and cried. While part of the squad, he did not make an appearance in the tournament as Canada was eliminated in the group stage. In June 2023, Fraser was initially included in Canada's preliminary roster for the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup. On June 26, he was called into the final squad, alongside Jayden Nelson, as replacements for Sam Adekugbe and Stephen Eustáquio.

Fraser has been selected for several significant international tournaments with the Canadian senior team. He was part of Canada's squad for the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup. In 2022, he achieved a career highlight by being named to Canada's squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, although he did not play in any matches.
