1. Early life and background
Jean-Philippe Krasso was born on 17 July 1997 in Stuttgart, Germany. He is 74 in (187 cm) tall. In 2007, he moved to France from Germany, where he began his football journey. He started playing at IFR Châteauroux, an early training center, before progressing to the academy of FC Lorient. Krasso is of Ivorian descent, which later influenced his decision to represent Ivory Coast internationally.
2. Club career
Jean-Philippe Krasso's professional club career began in France, where he developed his skills across various divisions before making significant moves to prominent clubs in France and Serbia.

2.1. Early career
After his time in the Lorient academy, Krasso began his early senior career with Lorient B, playing 43 matches and scoring 6 goals between 2015 and 2017. He then moved to SC Schiltigheim, where he appeared in 23 matches and scored 5 goals during the 2017-18 season. From 2018 to 2020, he played for SAS Épinal, making 42 appearances and scoring 10 goals. His early professional spells were primarily in the Championnat National 2, a foundational level in French football.
2.2. AS Saint-Étienne
On 28 May 2020, Krasso signed a three-year professional contract with AS Saint-Étienne. He made his professional debut for the club on 24 July 2020, in a 1-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the 2020 Coupe de France Final.
To further his development, Krasso was sent on loan spells. On 31 January 2021, he joined Le Mans FC in the Championnat National, where he made 14 appearances and scored 5 goals. The following year, on 27 January 2022, he was loaned to Ligue 2 side AC Ajaccio. During his time with Ajaccio, he played 15 matches, scoring 4 goals, and notably helped the club achieve promotion to Ligue 1.
Upon his return to Saint-Étienne, Krasso delivered a standout performance on 30 August 2022, scoring four goals in the club's 5-0 home victory over SC Bastia. This achievement made him the first player to score four goals in a league match for AS Saint-Étienne in the 21st century. Over his tenure with Saint-Étienne from 2019 to 2023, he played in 57 league matches, scoring 18 goals, and made 3 appearances in national cup competitions.
2.3. Red Star Belgrade
On 20 June 2023, Krasso joined reigning Serbian SuperLiga champions Red Star Belgrade on a free transfer, signing a four-year contract. He made an immediate impact, scoring two goals on his debut on 30 July in a 5-0 home win against Vojvodina. In the 2023-24 season, he played 29 league matches, scoring 8 goals, and also made 3 appearances in the Serbian Cup, scoring 1 goal. Additionally, he participated in the UEFA Champions League, making 4 appearances.
2.4. Paris FC
On 6 July 2024, Jean-Philippe Krasso transferred to Paris FC, signing a three-year contract. He currently plays as a forward for the Ligue 2 club.
3. International career
Jean-Philippe Krasso, being of Ivorian descent, has represented the Ivory Coast at both youth and senior levels.
He played for the Ivory Coast U20 at the 2017 Toulon Tournament, where he made 5 appearances and scored 2 goals.
Krasso made his senior international debut for the Ivory Coast on 25 September 2022, in a 2-1 friendly victory over Togo. He was part of the victorious Ivory Coast squad that won the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
