1. Personal life
Beklemisheva was born on June 27, 1997, in Lipetsk, Russia. She later became a Hungarian citizen in August 2017, which allowed her to represent Hungary in international competitions. In July 2019, she married Russian figure skater Mikhail Kolyada. She stands at 5.2 ft (1.58 m).
2. Skating career
Daria Beklemisheva began her journey in figure skating in 2002. Over the course of her competitive career, she formed partnerships with various skaters, competing primarily in the pair skating discipline for Russia at the junior level before transitioning to the senior level representing Hungary. Her training locations included Moscow, Russia, and Shakopee, Minnesota, in the U.S., during her earlier career, and later Oberstdorf, Germany, and Zürich, Switzerland.
2.1. Early years and initial partnerships
Beklemisheva started competitive skating in 2002. Her first notable partnership was with Nikita Ermolaev, with whom she competed at the 2012 Russian Junior Championships, finishing 10th. She later skated with Yaroslav Maslov, placing 12th at the 2014 Russian Junior Championships. During these early years, she was coached by Valentina Chebotareva and was affiliated with the Moscow UOR 4 skating club.
2.2. Partnership with Maxim Bobrov
Representing Russia, Daria Beklemisheva formed a partnership with Maxim Bobrov for the 2014-2015 season. Their junior-level career saw them compete in two ISU Junior Grand Prix (JGP) events in October 2014. They placed fourth in Dresden, Germany, before earning a silver medal in Zagreb, Croatia. These results qualified them for the JGP Final in Barcelona, Spain, where they ultimately finished in fourth place.
Domestically, Beklemisheva and Bobrov ranked fifth at the 2015 Russian Junior Championships. Following the withdrawal of another Russian pair, Maria Vigalova and Egor Zakroev, they were nominated to compete at the 2015 World Junior Championships in Tallinn, Estonia. There, they placed 10th in the short program, 12th in the free skate, and finished 11th overall. The pair was coached by Artur Dmitriev in Moscow. They also won the Russian Cup Final at the junior level.
2.3. Partnership with Márk Magyar
Around 2016, Beklemisheva teamed up with Márk Magyar to compete for Hungary on the senior level. This partnership marked her transition to representing a different country, a move facilitated by her gaining Hungarian citizenship in August 2017.
They made their international debut at the Bavarian Open in February 2017, where they earned a bronze medal. In March of the same year, Beklemisheva and Magyar participated in the 2017 World Championships held in Helsinki, Finland, where they placed 24th in the short program. During this period, the pair was coached by Trudy Oltmanns in Shakopee, Minnesota, until the conclusion of the season.
For the 2017-2018 season, Beklemisheva and Magyar changed their coaching team and training locations, opting to train with Robin Szolkowy, Maylin Wende, and Daniel Wende in Oberstdorf, Germany, and Zürich, Switzerland. In this season, they competed in the ISU Challenger Series, placing eighth at the 2017 Lombardia Trophy and 16th at the 2017 Nebelhorn Trophy. She was affiliated with the UTE Budapest skating club. Her choreographers included Alexei Zhelezniakov, Alexander Gazsi, and Sergei Komolov during different periods of her career.
