His career has seen him rise through the youth ranks of Al-Fateh SC, make a significant transfer to Al-Nassr, and represent his country, including participation in the FIFA World Cup.

Ali Al-Hassan was born in Hofuf, Saudi Arabia. He is the brother of Abbas Al-Hassan, who is also a Saudi Arabian professional footballer and plays as a midfielder.
3. Club career
Ali Al-Hassan's club career began at Al-Fateh, where he progressed through the youth system before making his professional debut. His strong performances led to a move to Al-Nassr, where he continued to develop his role as a central midfielder.
3.1. Al-Fateh
Al-Hassan is a product of the Al-Fateh youth system. He made his professional debut for Al-Fateh on February 17, 2018, in a Pro League match against Al-Ittihad, coming on as a replacement for Abdelkader Oueslati. Shortly after his debut, on March 6, 2018, Al-Hassan scored his first goal for the club in a dominant 5-2 victory over Al-Batin. In his inaugural season with the first team, he made 5 appearances and scored once.
On November 20, 2018, Al-Hassan underwent surgery in Germany, which resulted in him being sidelined for approximately one month. He made his return to action on December 21, 2018, in a league match against Al-Ettifaq. Recognizing his potential, Al-Fateh's management secured a five-year professional contract with Al-Hassan on January 5, 2019. In his second season as a first-team player, he featured in 16 matches and found the net once, against Al-Fayha.
3.2. Al-Nassr
On October 5, 2020, Ali Al-Hassan completed a significant transfer to Al-Nassr, signing a five-year contract. The reported transfer fee for his services was approximately 25.00 M SAR. Since joining Al-Nassr, he has continued to be a regular presence in the squad.
