Aleksandra Rompa was born on February 7, 1991, in Kędzierzyn-Koźle, Poland. She relocated from her birthplace at the age of nine, marking an early change in her formative years before her prominent football career.

Beyond her career as a player, Aleksandra Rompa has also been actively involved in football development. She worked as a football trainer at a school located in Konin and holds a UEFA B coaching license, indicating her commitment to the sport off the field. In 2020, she officially took her husband's name, changing her surname from Sikora to Rompa.

2.1. Early Career in Poland

Aleksandra Sikora started her career at Promień Mosty, a club situated near Goleniów. There, she played for the women's team in the Inne Ligi Kobiet (Inne Ligi Kobiet_{Other Women's Leagues}^Polish), which was Poland's third football division for women. In 2009, she joined KKPK Medyk Konin, where she made her debut in the Ekstraliga, Poland's premier women's football league.

Initially, Sikora played as a forward, showcasing her goalscoring prowess. At the age of 16, she notably scored a hat-trick in four consecutive league matches. During her tenure with Medyk Konin, she accumulated 65 goals across 103 appearances in the Ekstraliga. Her tactical versatility led to shifts in her playing position: coach Roman Jaszczak first moved her to right midfield, and subsequently, coach Nina Patalon decided to convert her into a defender. While at Medyk Konin, she also had the opportunity to compete in the UEFA Women's Champions League.

Following her successful period in Poland, Aleksandra Sikora moved to Italy in 2017, joining Brescia to play in the Serie A Femminile, Italy's top women's football division. After one season with Brescia, she made another significant transfer on July 13, 2018, signing with Juventus, where she continued her career in the Serie A Femminile.

Predominantly playing as a defender for the national team, she was appointed captain of the team in 2014.
