Yuzo Tamura's first appointment as manager of Iwaki FC came on January 1, 2017. He led the team for five seasons, guiding them through various league promotions. However, after the 2021 season, he stepped down from his managerial role. During 2022, while serving as the club's sports director, Tamura enrolled in and completed the S-Class license course. He successfully obtained his S-Class license in 2023, fulfilling the necessary qualification for managing a J.League club. On June 14, 2023, Tamura made a return to the dugout, being re-appointed as the manager of Iwaki FC. This second tenure followed the termination of Hiromasa Suguri's contract due to the team's disappointing performance. Tamura continues to serve as the manager of Iwaki FC.
3.3. Other Management and Director Positions
After his initial five-year stint as manager of Iwaki FC concluded at the end of the 2021 season, Tamura transitioned into the role of Sports Director for the entire 2022 season.
