2.1. 2019-2022 Season
Wei Yaxin made her mark in the senior circuit by becoming the champion at the Polish Open. In the final, she defeated Germany's Yvonne Li in a three-game match. Beyond this victory, she continued to accumulate medals in various other international events.
Towards the latter half of 2022, Wei began partnering with Jiang Zhenbang, who is two years her junior, to compete in the mixed doubles category at international tournaments. This partnership quickly yielded results, as they were runners-up at the 2022 Indonesia International tournament. Their first mixed doubles title came at the 2022 Vietnam International Series. They also reached the final of the 2022 Malaysia International, where they were runners-up. Their first BWF World Tour title as a pair was secured at the 2022 Indonesia Masters Super 100.
2.2. 2023 Season: Breakthrough Year
The 2023 season proved to be a pivotal year for Wei Yaxin, marking her significant rise in the international rankings. In January, she and Jiang Zhenbang were runners-up at the Indonesia Masters. In March, they won the Swiss Open, which was their first BWF World Tour title at the Super 300 level or higher.
