Born in Imabari, Ehime Prefecture, Ochi has had a professional career spanning multiple clubs in Japan, including Ehime FC, Zweigen Kanazawa, Fujieda MYFC, FC Ryukyu, FC Imabari, VONDS Ichihara, BTOP Sanku Kuriyama, and FC.AWJ. He has also transitioned into a coaching role after his playing career.

Ryosuke Ochi was born on April 7, 1990, in Imabari, Ehime Prefecture, Japan. He stands at 67 in (169 cm) tall and weighs 139 lb (63 kg). His dominant foot is his right foot.
2.1. Early life and youth career
Ochi began his football journey with Imabari Eagles, a youth team associated with Imabari Municipal Tokiwa Elementary School. He continued his early development at Meitoku Gijuku Junior High School and Imabari Municipal Hiyoshi Junior High School. From 2006 to 2008, he joined the Oita Trinita U-18 team while attending Oita Toho High School. During his time at Oita Trinita U-18, he played alongside notable future professional footballers such as Keigo Higashi, Koki Kiyotake, Kazuto Kishida, and Shohei Kishida.
3. Playing career
Ryosuke Ochi's professional football career began in 2009, leading him through several clubs across various Japanese football leagues, including J2 League, J3 League, JFL, and regional leagues. He experienced both periods of consistent play and challenges in securing regular appearances throughout his career.
3.1. Club career
Ochi started his professional career in 2009 by joining Ehime FC, a club based in his home prefecture, playing in the J2 League. Over his initial three years at Ehime FC, he made 73 official appearances. However, in his fourth season in 2012, he did not make any official appearances, leading to his departure from the club at the end of that season.
In 2013, Ochi transferred to Zweigen Kanazawa. During his two years with the club, he contributed to their success, including winning the J3 League title in 2014.
He moved to Fujieda MYFC in 2015, where he spent four seasons until 2018.
In 2019, Ochi joined FC Ryukyu, marking his return to the J2 League after a seven-year absence. He played in 22 league matches for FC Ryukyu that year. However, his contract with the club expired at the end of the 2019 season.
For the 2020 season, Ochi made a move to FC Imabari, a club based in his hometown of Imabari City. Despite this homecoming, he departed the club after only one year.
In February 2021, he signed with VONDS Ichihara. He left the club on December 27, 2021.
On February 1, 2022, Ochi announced his transfer to BTOP Sanku Kuriyama. His most recent club was FC.AWJ in 2023.
