1.1. Vélez Sarsfield
Domínguez started his professional journey with Vélez Sarsfield. He made his professional debut in a 3-2 victory against Estudiantes during the 15th fixture of the 2016-17 Argentine Primera División season, playing under the coaching of Omar De Felippe. He scored his first professional goal in a 3-0 victory against Tigre during the 28th fixture of the same season. Over time, he increased his playing opportunities and became a key player for the club.
1.2. Bologna
On 30 August 2019, Domínguez signed a contract with the Italian club Bologna. Following his signing, he was immediately loaned back to Vélez Sarsfield for the remainder of 2019.
