Napapa Tantrakul

2.1. Birth and Family

Napapa Tantrakul was born on 16 July 1986. Her birth parents are Chetha Tantrakul and Wanida Saijai. However, her parents separated and each went on to establish new families. Consequently, Napapa was raised by her paternal grandparents, Mit Tantrakul and Chutaphat Ruekkasemson. Due to this upbringing, she grew up referring to her biological father and her paternal uncles as "older brothers."

2.2. Ethnicity and Descent

Tantrakul possesses a rich mixed heritage. She has Pakistani and Hainanese Chinese ancestry through her paternal grandfather, while her paternal grandmother is of Chinese descent. She is also the paternal niece of Jirayu Tantrakul, who is also an actor in the Thai entertainment industry.

2.3. Education

Napapa Tantrakul pursued her education through various levels. She completed her primary education at Sarasas Ektra School. For her secondary education, she attended Satri Wat Mahapruektaram School. Following her secondary studies, she enrolled in the International College at Bangkok University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in English for Business in 2009.

2.4. Religious Background

Napapa Tantrakul was initially raised in the Islamic faith. Despite her upbringing, she was observed participating in Buddhist almsgiving ceremonies, a common practice in Thailand. In 2016, she officially converted to Buddhism, aligning with the religion of her paternal grandmother. However, she has also expressed that she might consider converting back to Islam in the future.

3.1. Acting Career

Napapa Tantrakul began her acting career around the age of 11 or 12, while still in middle school, with the support of her mother. She was first approached by a modeling agency at Siam Square and started with a commercial for Fanta soft drinks. Her breakthrough came with her appearance in the music video for TAXI's song "Do you miss me when you..." After completing her studies at Satri Wat Mahapruektaram School, she officially changed her name to Napapa and fully entered the drama industry. Her debut drama was Tee Ded Kru Pan Mai Jit Pisai Dueat on Channel 3. She secured her first leading role in Likisat Hua Jai, starring opposite Thrisadee Sahawong. Both were part of the first batch of new actors in the Power Three Group, and they subsequently collaborated on numerous other dramas.

4.1. Relationships and Marriage

Napapa Tantrakul's romantic life has seen several notable relationships. She was previously in a relationship and lived with Thanapon Tayaharn. Their relationship ended when Thanapon stated he felt looked down upon by others for dating a celebrity. Following their separation, Napapa and her niece were involved in a public dispute with Thanapon's wife.

Later, Napapa began a relationship with Akarakit Worarojcharoendet, whom she had known for seven years. After approximately seven to eight months of dating, she became pregnant with their first child. Napapa and Akarakit married on 20 November 2016. However, their marriage faced difficulties when Akarakit was imprisoned on 30 May 2017. Napapa publicly announced her separation from Akarakit on 19 November 2018.

In late 2023, Napapa began a relationship with Chanon Wongngamkham, who was born on 15 August 2000. Despite their relationship, they have chosen not to legally register their marriage. On 23 January 2025, the couple participated in a Buddhist blessing ceremony at Wat Ratchabophit Sathitmahasimaram Ratchaworawihan to bring good fortune to their partnership.

4.2. Children

Napapa Tantrakul has one child, a son named Akaranan Worarojcharoendet, who is affectionately known by his nickname "Racing." He was born on 13 February 2017.
