A particularly notable moment occurred in a match against FK Mladost Podgorica, where he scored a remarkable goal from a distance of 230 ft (70 m), though some sources reported approximately 197 ft (60 m), reminiscent of Wayne Rooney's long-range strikes. This goal secured a 1-0 victory for Sutjeska. During his time at Sutjeska Nikšić from 2013 to 2015, he played 60 league matches and scored 12 goals, contributing to the club's success, including winning the Montenegrin First League title in the 2013-14 season. Masato Fukui is known by the nickname "Baki" (バキBakiJapanese). This nickname was given to him by his former teammate Masayuki Okano during their time together at Gainare Tottori. Okano reportedly coined the name because Fukui's well-developed upper body reminded him of Baki Hanma, a character from the Japanese manga series Grappler Baki.

During his tenure at FC Kamza, Masato Fukui faced several difficulties, notably involving his visa and alleged financial disputes with the club.
