2. Early life and youth career
Iván Martos Campillo was born in Manresa, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, on May 15, 1997. He stands at 72 in (182 cm) tall and weighs 150 lb (68 kg). Martos began his youth career at FC Barcelona, where he played from 2007 to 2011. Following his time at Barcelona, he joined CF Damm, playing there from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, he briefly played for Club Gimnàstic Manresa before joining the youth setup of UD Almería on July 31, 2013. He continued his youth development at UD Almería until 2016.

Iván Martos Campillo's professional career began at UD Almería and has seen him play for various clubs, including loan spells and subsequent transfers.
3.1. UD Almería
After joining UD Almería's youth setup, Martos made his senior debut with the club's reserves, UD Almería B, on November 8, 2015. This appearance came in a 1-1 home draw against UD Melilla in Segunda División B. He scored his first senior goal on February 18, 2017, netting his team's second goal in a 3-2 home victory over River Melilla CF in the Tercera División. During his time with UD Almería B from 2015 to 2018, Martos made 89 appearances and scored 8 goals.
Martos made his first-team debut for UD Almería on September 11, 2018, starting in a 2018-19 Copa del Rey match where his side defeated Málaga CF 2-1 away. After becoming a regular starter for the main squad, he renewed his contract with the club on March 6, 2019, extending his stay until 2022, and was officially promoted to the first team. He further extended his contract until 2024 on March 16, 2020. Between 2018 and 2023, Martos played 74 matches for UD Almería's first team, though he did not score any goals. In March 2022, he suffered a significant setback, tearing the ACL in his right knee. After undergoing rehabilitation, he returned to collective training in October 2022, following seven months on the treatment table. He terminated his contract with the club on July 22, 2023, concluding a long tenure at Almería.

On October 5, 2020, Martos moved to fellow second division side Rayo Vallecano on a one-year loan deal. During his spell at Rayo Vallecano from 2020 to 2021, he made 12 appearances, helping the club secure promotion to La Liga, Spain's top football division.
After returning to Almería, where he served mainly as a backup option, he was loaned again on January 19, 2023. This time, he joined FC Cartagena in the second division for the remainder of the 2022-23 Segunda División season. At FC Cartagena, Martos played 16 matches and scored 1 goal during his loan in 2023.

Following the termination of his contract with UD Almería, Iván Martos signed a one-year deal with SD Huesca on July 25, 2023, three days after departing Almería. On August 21, 2024, as a free agent, Martos agreed to a one-year contract with CD Eldense, which also competes in the second division, becoming his current club.
