Frida herself was involved in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest even before her main performance, serving as a backing vocalist for her sister Molly during her 2006 performance.

In 2012, Frida Sandén participated in the Swedish reality television music competition X Factor Sweden, which was broadcast on TV4. She successfully progressed through the competition, reaching the finals. However, she was ultimately outvoted on October 19, concluding her participation in the season at 10th place.
