Erick Ouma Otieno was born on September 27, 1996, in Awasi, located in Kisumu County, Kenya.
2. Club career
Ouma's professional club career began in January 2016 when he signed a six-month contract with Kenyan club Gor Mahia. He later renewed this contract until the end of the year. Upon the expiration of his contract, Ouma departed Gor Mahia and subsequently signed another six-month contract with Georgian club Kolkheti Poti in January 2017.
In February 2018, Ouma moved to Albania to join KS Kastrioti. By September 2018, he had transferred to Swedish club Vasalund, where he made 22 appearances and scored 2 goals. He then moved to AIK for the 2020 season, continuing his tenure in Swedish football. On January 11, 2024, Ouma signed a three-year contract with Ekstraklasa defending champions Raków Częstochowa.
3. International career
Erick Ouma Otieno made his international debut for the Kenya national team in 2016. His first match was on May 29, 2016, against the Tanzania national team, which ended in a 1-1 draw. He was a key member of the Kenyan squad that participated in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
