Elisa Lindström

1.1. Birth and Education

Eva Elisa Lindström was born on 24 April 1991. She participated in Lilla Melodifestivalen in 2005 as part of the music group Lali. Their song, titled "Du får ta mitt hjärta" (You can take my heart), secured sixth place overall in the competition. This song was co-written by Lindström herself and her sister, Alma Lindström. Lindström pursued a musical education program in a school located in Skövde, where she would later form her successful dansband. Her hometown is Töreboda, from which she led a choir in a national television competition.

2.1. Early Activities and Band Formation

Lindström's professional journey began with her participation in Lilla Melodifestivalen in 2005. Following this, the dansband Elisa's was formed in 2009. The band consisted of Lindström and other musicians who were part of the same musical education program in Skövde.

2.2. Rise to National Popularity and Broadcast Appearances

In 2010, Elisa Lindström and her band, Elisa's, gained significant national attention by competing in the SVT danceband reality competition show Dansbandskampen (Battle of the Dancebands). Her band successfully qualified for the finals and ultimately won the contest on 11 December 2010.

Lindström's individual talent was further recognized in early 2012 when she was awarded "Singer of the Year 2011" at the prestigious Guldklaven Awards.

In 2013, Lindström joined the choir singing competition show Körslaget (Clash of the Choirs), which was broadcast on TV4. She led a choir representing her hometown of Töreboda. Lindström's choir advanced to the final on 19 October 2013, where they competed against a choir led by singer Anna Book. Lindström ultimately won the final of Körslaget, marking another major televised victory.

In November 2013, it was announced that Lindström would participate in Melodifestivalen 2014 with her song "Casanova". She competed in the first heat of the competition, aiming to represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 held in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Lindström's versatility extended to dance competitions when she participated in Let's Dance 2016, broadcast on TV4. She achieved another victory, winning the final against Bianca Wahlgren Ingrosso.

2.3. Hosting Activities and Recent Music Ventures

In 2016, Elisa Lindström added television host to her resume, presenting the danceband show Tack för dansen alongside Thomas Deutgen. The show aired on TV4, further solidifying her presence in Swedish television.

She continued her involvement in Sweden's premier music competition, participating in Melodifestivalen 2021 with her song "Den du är", which was eliminated in the semi-finals. Lindström made another appearance in Melodifestivalen 2024 with the song "Forever Yours". In her heat on 3 February 2024, she placed second in the second voting round, which allowed her to qualify for the run-off round on 2 March; however, she was ultimately eliminated in that stage of the competition.
