Dušan Anđelković's professional club career spanned from 2001 to 2018, marked by various stints with Serbian clubs, particularly two periods with Red Star Belgrade, and experiences in Turkish and Russian leagues.
1.1. Early career
Anđelković began his professional football journey at Sloga Kraljevo, where he played from 2001 to 2002, making 15 appearances and scoring 4 goals. He then moved to Mladost Lučani, playing from 2002 to 2003, where he featured in 29 matches and notably scored 16 goals. In 2004, he had a loan spell at Radnički Beograd, participating in 29 matches and scoring 4 goals. It was with Radnički Beograd that he made his top-flight debut during the 2004-05 season. Following this, in 2005, he joined Voždovac, where he played in 17 matches and scored 1 goal.
1.2. First stint at Red Star Belgrade
In January 2006, Anđelković was transferred on loan to Red Star Belgrade, a prominent club in Serbian football. His performances quickly led to him signing a permanent contract with the club in June 2006. During this first period, which lasted until 2008, he played a total of 53 matches and scored 1 goal. His time at Red Star Belgrade was highly successful, as he contributed to the team winning two consecutive Serbian SuperLiga titles in the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons. Additionally, he helped the club secure two Serbian Cup victories in the same seasons.
1.3. Overseas career
Following his initial success with Red Star Belgrade, Anđelković moved abroad. In the fall of 2008, he had a brief stint with the Turkish club Kocaelispor, where he made 5 appearances without scoring. Subsequently, in January 2009, he moved to Russia and signed with Rostov. He remained with Rostov for two years, from 2009 to 2010, appearing in 51 matches and scoring 1 goal. In January 2011, Anđelković joined Russian Premier League newcomers Krasnodar. He played for Krasnodar from 2011 to 2014, making 66 appearances and scoring 1 goal. He departed the club at the end of the 2013-14 Russian Premier League season.

1.4. Return to Red Star Belgrade and retirement
In the winter transfer window of 2015, Anđelković made a significant return to his former club, Red Star Belgrade. The announcement of his return on December 29, 2014, was made alongside Aleksandar Luković. During his second spell with the club, from 2015 to 2018, he played in 53 matches and scored 5 goals. His impactful performances during the 2016-17 season earned him a spot in the Serbian SuperLiga Team of the Season. Anđelković continued to play a crucial role, contributing to Red Star Belgrade's league championship wins in the 2015-16 and 2017-18 seasons. In April 2018, Anđelković officially announced his decision to retire from professional football at the conclusion of the 2017-18 season, concluding a distinguished career with his sixth major trophy.

2. International career
Dušan Anđelković earned one cap for the Serbia national football team. His sole international appearance came on 24 November 2007, in a UEFA Euro 2008 qualifier match against Kazakhstan. He played the full 90 minutes in this match, which Serbia won by a score of 1-0.
