1.1. Corinthians
Dentinho's early career at Corinthians saw him emerge as a promising talent, eventually becoming a key player in the club's successful campaigns.
1.1.1. 2007-2008: Early Career and Breakthrough
After developing through the youth ranks of Corinthians, Bruno Ferreira Bonfim made his first team debut in 2007. He featured in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A during a derby match against Palmeiras. His first professional goal came on 7 July 2007, in a 1-1 draw against Fluminense. Despite his individual efforts, Corinthians faced a challenging period, experiencing their first-ever relegation to Série B.
In 2008, Dentinho demonstrated his scoring prowess, becoming Corinthians' top scorer in the Campeonato Paulista (São Paulo State Championship). He continued his excellent form in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B 2008, where he was the team's joint top scorer with Germán Herrera, netting 14 goals. His contributions were instrumental in helping Corinthians win the Série B title and secure promotion back to the top flight.
1.1.2. 2009-2011: Championship Success and Departure
The year 2009 marked a highly successful period for Dentinho and Corinthians, especially with the arrival of Brazilian football icon Ronaldo. Dentinho played a crucial role alongside Ronaldo, leading Corinthians to victories in both the Campeonato Paulista and the Copa do Brasil. He notably scored in the Copa do Brasil semifinal on 27 May 2009, in a 1-1 draw against Vasco da Gama, which helped Corinthians advance to the final where they defeated Internacional. On 30 September 2009, Dentinho extended his contract with Corinthians until December 2013, with his release clause set at over 30.00 M EUR.
In 2010, Dentinho made his debut in the prestigious Copa Libertadores. He scored his first goal in the competition on 10 March 2010, striking from just outside the penalty area to secure a 1-1 draw against Colombian club Independiente Medellín in a group stage fixture. In 2011, he continued to contribute to the team before his eventual transfer.
1.2. Shakhtar Donetsk
Dentinho's move to Ukraine marked a new chapter in his career, where he achieved significant success with Shakhtar Donetsk.

1.2.1. 2011-2012: Initial Success and Adaptation
On 18 May 2011, Dentinho officially signed a five-year contract with Ukrainian Premier League champions Shakhtar Donetsk. The transfer fee for the deal between Corinthians and Shakhtar was reported to be 7.50 M EUR (approximately 870.00 M JPY). He joined a squad that already featured several Brazilian players, including former Corinthians teammate Willian and fellow Brazilian U20 player Douglas Costa.
Dentinho made an immediate impact, scoring just five minutes after coming on as a 58th-minute substitute for Alex Teixeira in his debut match on 10 July, a 4-0 victory against Obolon Kyiv. He also scored against Vorskla Poltava (1-0) on September 18 and Oleksandria (3-0) on October 29, the latter being the opening goal just five minutes into the match. In his first season with Shakhtar, he made 18 league appearances and scored three goals. The club achieved a domestic treble in the 2011-12 season, winning the Ukrainian Premier League and the Ukrainian Cup. Dentinho was an unused substitute in the 2-0 victory over Metalurh Donetsk in the 2012 Ukrainian Super Cup. He scored his first goal of the 2012-13 season in his first start, a 3-0 win against Karpaty Lviv.
1.2.2. 2013: Loan to Beşiktaş JK
On 23 January 2013, Dentinho was loaned to Turkish Süper Lig club Beşiktaş for a one-year spell, until January 2014. He made 6 appearances in the Süper Lig during the 2012-13 season and 2 appearances in the 2013-14 season, along with 1 appearance in the UEFA Europa League. His loan deal expired on the last day of 2013, and he subsequently returned to Shakhtar Donetsk.
1.2.3. 2013-2021: Continued Contributions and Departure
Following his loan spell, Dentinho continued to contribute to Shakhtar Donetsk's success. In the 2015-16 season, he made 3 appearances in the UEFA Champions League and 5 appearances in the UEFA Europa League, scoring one goal across these continental competitions. The following season (2016-17), he played 2 matches in the UEFA Champions League and 6 in the UEFA Europa League, scoring one continental goal. In 2017-18, he featured in 5 matches of the UEFA Champions League. For the 2018-19 season, he participated in 2 UEFA Champions League matches. Dentinho spent a decade at Shakhtar Donetsk, accumulating numerous honors. His contract with the club expired on 8 November 2021, marking the end of his long and successful tenure in Ukraine.
1.3. Ceará
On 2 March 2022, after his departure from Shakhtar Donetsk, Dentinho returned to Brazil and signed with Ceará. His contract with the Brazilian club was set to run until the end of 2022. He made 5 league appearances and 1 State league appearance for the club, also featuring in the Copa Sudamericana and Copa do Brasil.
1.4. Amazonas
As of his latest professional engagement, Bruno Ferreira Bonfim, Dentinho, currently plays for Amazonas as a forward.
2. International Career
Dentinho represented the Brazil national youth teams during his early career. He made six appearances for the Brazil U20 team, scoring one goal. He was a member of the squad that emerged victorious in the 2009 South American U-20 Championship.
3. Personal Life
Bruno Ferreira Bonfim, Dentinho, is married to model Danielle Souza. The couple tied the knot in 2012. They have three children together: a son named Bruno Lucas, born in 2012, and identical twin daughters, Sophia and Rafaella, who were born in 2014.
