3. Career
Danilo Almeida Alves's professional football career began in Brazil, followed by spells in European leagues, and then extensive play in various Asian leagues.
3.1. Brazilian League Career
Alves started his professional career in Brazil. He made his league debut for Quixadá on January 13, 2011, against Guarany de Sobral. He scored his first goal for Quixadá on January 27, 2011, in the 90th+4th minute against Horizonte.
He later joined Luverdense, making his league debut on September 4, 2011, against Rio Branco. For Portuguesa, he scored on his league debut on February 17, 2012, in the 58th minute against XV Piracicaba.
In 2013, Alves debuted for Avaí on January 19 against Hermann Aichinger, and scored his first goal for the club on January 30 against Juventus SC in the 44th minute. His time at Atlético Sorocaba saw him debut on January 18, 2014, against Rio Claro, and score his first league goal on February 5, 2014, against Portuguesa.

He joined Flamurtari Vlorë of the Albanian Superliga on January 4, 2016, signing a contract until the end of the season and being assigned squad number 99. His competitive debut for Flamurtari came on January 24, starting in the first leg of the 2015-16 Albanian Cup quarter-final against Tirana, a match that ended in a 1-0 home defeat. Six days later, he made his league debut against Teuta Durrës, playing the full match as Flamurtari secured their first three points of 2016. Alves experienced a 653-minute scoreless streak across seven matches before scoring his first goal for Flamurtari on April 2, 2016, in a 1-1 away draw against Teuta Durrës.
In the first part of the 2017-18 season, he scored only once in 16 league matches, which was the opening goal in a 3-1 home win over Lushnja on September 16.
