Daniel David Jebbison was born on 11 July 2003, in Oakville, a Toronto suburb in Ontario, Canada. He has a diverse family background, with a Jamaican father and an English mother. Jebbison resided in Canada until the age of 13. In 2017, he relocated to England with his family, settling in Derby, where he attended Derby Moor Academy in the Littleover region.
1.2. Youth Career
Jebbison began his football journey at the ANB Futbol youth academy in Canada, playing there from 2009 until 2017. Following his move to England, he successfully trialed with Sheffield United Academy in 2018. He quickly progressed through their U18 and U23 development sides. In 2019, he was promoted to the U18 youth team, where he notably scored multiple goals in his debut match in the U18 Youth League. He continued to develop within Sheffield United's system until 2020.

Daniel Jebbison's professional club career began at Sheffield United, where he quickly gained recognition before moving to AFC Bournemouth, interspersed with several loan spells to gain further experience.
2.1. Sheffield United
Jebbison signed his first professional contract with Sheffield United in 2020 at the age of 17. To gain senior experience, he was loaned to National League North club Chorley on 24 December 2020, where he made two appearances. Upon his return to Sheffield United in February 2021, he continued his development, notably scoring four goals for the U23 youth team. During the 2021-22 season, he also made one appearance in the EFL Championship play-offs.
His senior debut for Sheffield United came in a Premier League match on 8 May 2021, a 2-0 loss against Crystal Palace. Just eight days later, on 16 May, Jebbison made his first Premier League start against Everton and scored his inaugural professional goal in the seventh minute of the first half, leading his team to a 1-0 victory. This achievement made him the youngest player to score in their first Premier League start, at 17 years and 306 days old. His immediate impact drew significant attention from major clubs, including the opposing team Everton, as well as Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund, all reportedly considering his acquisition. On 21 May 2021, he officially signed his first professional contract with Sheffield United.

Due to his parentage, Jebbison was eligible to play for England, Canada, and Jamaica. He chose to represent England at the youth international level. His debut for the England under-18 squad came on 29 March 2021, in a 2-0 friendly victory over the Wales under-18s.
On 2 September 2021, Jebbison made his debut for the England U19s in a 2-0 win against Italy at St. George's Park. He scored his first goal for the U19s on 6 September during a 1-1 draw with Germany in Bad Dürrheim. On 17 June 2022, Jebbison was included in the England U19 squad for the 2022 UEFA European Under-19 Championship. During the tournament, he scored a goal against Serbia in the group stage. England went on to win the tournament, securing a 3-1 victory over Israel in extra time on 1 July 2022.
Jebbison then made his debut for the England U20 squad on 24 September 2022, coming on as a substitute in a 2-1 win against Morocco at the Pinatar Arena. He was subsequently included in the England squad for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup on 10 May 2023.

Despite his appearances for England's youth teams, Jebbison was named to Canada's 60-man provisional squad for the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup on 18 June 2021. He was again included in Canada's 60-man provisional squad for the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup on 2 June 2023. Ultimately, on 24 February 2025, Daniel Jebbison announced his commitment to represent Canada at the senior international level.
