He primarily played as a midfielder, specifically a defensive midfielder, but also had experience as a center-back. His professional playing career spanned from 2006 to 2018, featuring prominently for Ventforet Kofu, Ehime FC, Kyoto Sanga FC, and FC Gifu in the J.League. After retiring as a player, he transitioned into coaching roles, serving various clubs, including Ehime FC, FC Gifu, and Roasso Kumamoto.
2. Early Life and Youth Career
Daiki Tamori began his football journey at a young age, joining Shobara Football Club (庄原フットボールクラブShobara Futtobōru KurabuJapanese) in 1990. His talent was recognized, leading him to join the youth system of Sanfrecce Hiroshima, a prominent J.League club. From 1996 to 1998, he played for the Sanfrecce Hiroshima Junior Youth (サンフレッチェ広島ジュニアユースSanfuretche Hiroshima Junia YūsuJapanese) team. He then progressed to the Sanfrecce Hiroshima Youth (サンフレッチェ広島ユースSanfuretche Hiroshima YūsuJapanese) team, playing there from 1999 to 2001. During his youth career, he was notably coached by Shigekazu Nakamura (中村重和Nakamura ShigekazuJapanese), and his teammate during this period included Takuya Miyamoto (宮本卓也Miyamoto TakuyaJapanese). 3. Playing Career
Daiki Tamori's professional playing career began after his university years. In 2005, he joined Ventforet Kofu as a trainee, participating in their team training sessions. His performance earned him a professional contract, and he officially became a member of Ventforet Kofu for the 2006 season. He remained with the club until 2008, experiencing both the J1 League and J2 League during his tenure there. Known for his abundant work rate and quick pressing, Tamori was a diligent presence on the field. However, after the 2008 season, he was released by Ventforet Kofu.
In 2009, Tamori moved to Ehime FC, where he played for four seasons until 2012. He made significant contributions to the club's performance in the J2 League. On August 30, 2009, he scored his first J.League goal against Tokyo Verdy in a J2 League match at Ehime Prefectural Comprehensive Athletic Park Athletics Stadium.
Following his time at Ehime FC, Tamori joined Kyoto Sanga FC in December 2012 through a complete transfer. He remained with Kyoto Sanga for three seasons, from 2013 to 2015, continuing to play in the J2 League. In November 2015, his contract with Kyoto Sanga expired, leading to his departure from the club.
In 2016, Tamori signed with FC Gifu. He quickly established himself as a key player, often starting matches as a defensive midfielder or center-back due to his strong defensive capabilities. He played for FC Gifu for three seasons, from 2016 to 2018, contributing to their efforts in the J2 League. His final season as a professional player was in 2018, after which his contract with FC Gifu expired. In January 2019, he officially announced his retirement as a player. His J.League debut was on March 17, 2007, in a J1 League match against Urawa Red Diamonds at Saitama Stadium 2002.

4. Managerial and Coaching Career
After his retirement as a professional footballer in January 2019, Daiki Tamori transitioned into a career in coaching.
He began his coaching journey by returning to his former club, Ehime FC, where he served as a top team coach for two seasons, from 2019 to 2020.
In 2021, Tamori moved to another of his former clubs, FC Gifu, taking on the role of top team coach for that season. Following the 2021 season, he transitioned into an academy coaching position within FC Gifu, a role he held from 2022 to 2023, focusing on youth development.
For the 2024 season, Daiki Tamori joined Roasso Kumamoto as a youth coach. On December 25, 2024, it was announced that he would be promoted to the top team coach for Roasso Kumamoto starting in the 2025 season.
