Ana Fernández García

Born on November 10, 1989, Ana Carlota Fernández García is a native of Spain. She has two younger siblings, Carlos and María. Notably, María also pursued acting, portraying the character of Marta, Sandra's sister, in the television series The Protected. Fernández began her formal education in dramatic arts at the age of 14. Later, she commenced studies for a degree in Advertising and Public Relations, though she did not complete it.

Fernández embarked on her acting career at a remarkably early age, securing her first professional role when she was just four years old. This debut was in the miniseries El Joven Picasso, directed by the renowned Juan Antonio Bardem. Her early work also included a notable appearance in the theatre production Helena de Troya, which became one of her most recognized early performances on stage.

During this period, she also made a cameo appearance as Mónica in the 2011 episode "La lotera de Vallecas" of Los Quién, and appeared as herself in the 2010 episode "Segunda oportunidad" of Physics or Chemistry. From 2017 to 2020, Fernández gained international recognition for her role as Carlota Rodriguez de Senillosa in the Netflix original series Cable Girls, where she was a main cast member for 42 episodes. In 2018, she appeared as Carlota Hidalgo in episode #13.1369 of Love Is Forever. She reprised her role as Sandra in The Protected: The Return, appearing in 10 episodes as a main character from 2021 to 2023. Her recent television work includes the 2024 series From Tomorrow, where she plays Amaia Ginés.

While primarily recognized for her television work, Fernández has also made her mark in feature films. In 2011, she was slated to film her first movie, Promoción Fantasma, but had to decline the role due to scheduling conflicts with the filming of The Protected.

Her filmography includes playing Mónica in Lavapiés (original title Historias de Lavapiés) in 2014. In 2015, she starred as Olivia Romero in Just a Little Chemistry (original title Sólo química). She later appeared as Ruth in the 2020 film Don't Listen (original title Voces). In 2021, she played Lili in Girlfriends (original title Chavalas). Her most recent film role is Lina in The Flag (original title La bandera), released in 2024.
