2. Early life and background
2.1. Birth and family
Alan Stone was born on May 23, 1977, in Mexico City, Mexico. He is the son of the famous professional wrestler El Bello Greco, who was notable for introducing a gimmick involving a transvestite character to New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Alan is a second-generation luchadorluchadorSpanish, following in the footsteps of his father. His brothers, Super Calo (also known by his real name, Rafael Garcia, or the ring name Jordy Stone) and Chris Stone, are also professional wrestlers.
2.2. Training and early debut
Stone received his professional wrestling training from his father, El Bello Greco, and his brother, Jordy Stone. He made his professional debut on November 23, 1997, in Durango, initially competing under the ring name "Hollywood" as a tecnicotecnicoSpanish (fan favorite). He later changed his ring name to Alan Stone on November 20, 1999.
3. Professional wrestling career
Alan Stone's professional wrestling career began in the late 1990s, evolving through various promotions and adopting different personas.
3.1. Early independent circuit
After his initial debut as "Hollywood," Stone briefly wrestled on the independent circuit, including a stint with Promo Azteca. During this period, he officially adopted the ring name Alan Stone. He engaged in a notable feud with his brother, who was then wrestling as "Motor Cross." Both brothers eventually secured spots performing in opening matches for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL).
3.2. Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (1998-2004)
Upon joining CMLL, Alan Stone and his brother, "Motor Cross," formed a regular tag team in the undercard. They were often praised for their impressive matches and charismatic performances. In November 2000, they achieved a significant milestone by winning the CMLL Arena Coliseo Tag Team Championship. Following this victory, on December 15, his brother changed his ring name from Motor Cross to Chris Stone, and the duo became formally known as Los Hermanos Stone. This alliance marked a transition for them into tecnicostecnicosSpanish (fan favorites), leading to feuds with established rudosrudosSpanish (villains) such as Guerrero Del Futuro, Mogur, and Damian El Guerrero.
Despite their popularity, the brothers faced challenges in advancing higher on the card, seemingly destined to remain in the segundassegundasSpanish (second matches) and tercerastercerasSpanish (third matches) for several years. Eventually, Chris Stone had a disagreement with CMLL management and departed the promotion. This development allowed Alan Stone to be pushed as a singles wrestler in late 2003. On December 5, 2003, he teamed with Zumbido and Super Crazy in a tournament final for the vacant Mexican National Trios Championship, but they were defeated by Safari, El Felino, and Volador Jr.. In February 2004, Stone successfully passed the preliminary examination to become a member of the second class of Shocker's 1000% Guapos University. He was selected as the third member of the popular stable Los Guapos, though the group eventually disbanded due to perceived lack of overall team ability. After headlining an Arena Mexico show in late 2004, Alan Stone decided to leave CMLL and return to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), where he once again adopted a rudorudoSpanish persona and began a feud with El Intocable.
3.3. Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (2004-2012)
Alan Stone's return to AAA in 2004 marked a significant period in his career. On June 18, 2005, he officially transferred to AAA following a tournament in Torreón. On the same day, while teaming with the highly popular El Intocable, his partner suffered an injury. During Intocable's absence, Stone adopted and mimicked Intocable's character. Upon Intocable's return on November 25 during a match in Querétaro, Stone further integrated himself into the Guapos VIP group by continuing to emulate his rival.
At the 2006 Rey de Reyes event on March 10 in Ciudad Madero, Stone fought El Intocable in a best-of-three falls match that ended in a double-countout after each wrestler secured one fall. On December 8, 2006, at Guerra de Titanes, Alan Stone and Scorpio, Jr. defeated El Intocable and Brazo de Plata in a "hair vs. hair" dog collar chain match. As a result of the stipulations, Brazo de Plata's head was shaved. Although a "hair vs. hair" match between Alan Stone and El Intocable was seemingly planned, it never materialized.
Stone then focused on his involvement with Los Guapos until the group dissolved in 2007. At the 2007 Rey de Reyes event in Naucalpan, he and Zumbido competed in a four-team elimination tournament final for the vacant AAA World Tag Team Championship but lost to Dark Cuervo and Dark Ozz. Later that year, he participated in the first Antonio Peña Memorial Show in a gauntlet match for the Antonio Peña Cup, defeating Ron Killings and Scorpio, Jr. before being eliminated by Charley Manson. He subsequently turned tecnicotecnicoSpanish and reunited with his brothers, Super Calo and Chris Stone, forming the stable Los Bellos Stones.
Throughout this period, Stone frequently appeared in semi-main and occasional main events. He nearly won the 2008 Rey de Reyes tournament, being eliminated by El Zorro in the finals. At the Antonio Peña Memorial Show 2008, he and Chris Stone challenged but lost to the AAA World Tag Team Champions Joe Líder and Nicho el Millonario in a three-way ladder match that also included Jack Evans and Teddy Hart. At the 2009 Rey de Reyes in Guadalajara, he was eliminated in the opening rounds by El Elegido, though he had previously defeated Joe Líder in the same match.
On July 25, 2010, Chris Stone betrayed El Elegido during a tag team match, turning rudorudoSpanish. Chris then formed the stable La Milicia with Decnnis, Billy Boy, Black Abyss, Psicosis III, and Tigre Cota. Following his brother's example, Alan Stone also turned against El Elegido on August 6, 2010, and reformed Los Bellos Stones within the La Milicia faction. La Milicia subsequently joined forces with La Legión Extranjera and Los Perros del Mal to create the super-stable known as La Sociedad.
On March 13, 2011, Alan Stone teamed with Jennifer Blake to defeat Faby Apache and Pimpinela Escarlata for the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship. However, on February 10, 2012, Stone left La Milicia and La Sociedad due to a disagreement with Konnan. After several months off television, Stone returned to AAA on October 7, 2012, at Héroes Inmortales, where he and Jennifer Blake lost the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship to Halloween and Mari Apache in a four-way match that also included the teams of Atomic Boy and Faby Apache, and Fénix and Lolita. Shortly thereafter, Stone officially parted ways with AAA.
3.4. Return to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (2013-present)
Alan Stone made his return to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) in April 2013. Upon his comeback, he formed a new stable called Los Mirreyes alongside El Elegido and Toscano. He has continued to compete in AAA since then, maintaining his presence within the promotion's roster.
