Taylor Spreitler

1.1. Early life and background

Spreitler was born on October 23, 1993, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She spent her early childhood in nearby Wiggins, Mississippi, before her family relocated to Amory, Mississippi.

1.2. Early career

Spreitler began her professional career as a model. Her first commercial audition was for a national campaign for Motrin. Following this initial success, she appeared in a series of other commercial advertisements for various brands, including Jif, Hess, and Chuck E. Cheese.

1.3. Television roles

In 2009, Taylor Spreitler signed a three-year contract for her role as Mia McCormick in the NBC daytime soap opera Days of Our Lives. She appeared in 139 episodes of the series from 2009 to 2010. Her performance earned her a nomination for Best Performance in a Daytime TV Series by a Young Actress at the 32nd Young Artist Awards in 2011.

Following her tenure on Days of Our Lives, Spreitler took on a starring role as Lennox Scanlon in the ABC Family sitcom Melissa & Joey. In this series, she played the niece of Melissa Joan Hart's character, appearing in 104 episodes from 2010 to 2015.

In 2016, Spreitler was cast as Kendra Gable in the CBS sitcom Kevin Can Wait. She portrayed the daughter of Kevin James' character and appeared in 48 episodes of the show, which ran until 2018. Later, from 2020 to 2023, she had a recurring role as Sam in four episodes of Young Sheldon.

Taylor Spreitler has a diverse filmography, including roles in various genres. She appeared in the comedy film 3 Day Test in 2012 and the action thriller The Contractor in 2013. In 2015, she starred in Girl on the Edge.

Her notable horror film appearances include Amityville: The Awakening (2017), where she co-starred alongside Bella Thorne and Thomas Mann.
