Clark rose to prominence with two significant film roles in 2000: Lucius Verus Aurelius in the critically acclaimed historical epic Gladiator, and Joseph Dunn, the son of the protagonist, in M. Night Shyamalan's superhero thriller Unbreakable. He reprised his role as Joseph Dunn in the 2019 sequel, Glass.
His filmography also includes roles such as Ray "Silent Ray" Harris Jr. in the 2003 mystery drama Mystic River, Justin Stillo in the 2009 horror film The Last House on the Left, and Borachio in the 2012 adaptation of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing.
