Park Seo-ham was born on October 28, 1993, in Jeongwang-dong, Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. He completed his primary education at Okter Elementary School, followed by Songun Middle School, and then Gunseo High School. His early life and academic progression laid the groundwork for his later career in entertainment.

2.2. Name Changes

Throughout his life and career, Park Seo-ham has used several names. His birth name is Park Gyeong-bok (박경복^Korean). Upon his debut as an idol, he adopted the stage name Park Seung-jun (박승준^Korean). In 2018, he changed his name for the third time to his current professional name, Park Seo-ham (박서함^Korean). This succession of name changes reflects different phases of his public and professional identity.

3.1. Pre-debut Activities

Before his official debut as an idol, Park Seo-ham underwent extensive training at various entertainment agencies. He was a trainee at Big Hit Entertainment alongside fellow future KNK member Inseong, where they trained with members of the globally renowned boy group BTS. Following his time at Big Hit Entertainment, he moved to JYP Entertainment. At JYP, he transitioned into an actor trainee after securing second place in the company's 10th Open Audition, held on February 19, 2013. Additionally, before joining KNK, Park Seo-ham gained practical stage experience as a backup dancer for the girl group Bestie, performing for their songs "Zzang Christmas" and "I Need You".

3.2. Career with KNK

Park Seo-ham made his official debut as a member of the five-piece boy group KNK on March 3, 2016. At the time of his debut, he used the stage name Park Seung-jun. He was a prominent member of the group, known for his vocal and rapping abilities. In 2018, he formally changed his professional name from Park Seung-jun to Park Seo-ham. After approximately five years with the group, on September 30, 2021, it was announced that Park Seo-ham had decided to depart from KNK and 220 Entertainment. This decision came after extensive discussions with the group members regarding the future direction of his career.

3.3. Acting Career

Following his departure from KNK, Park Seo-ham successfully transitioned his focus to acting. On January 12, 2022, he was confirmed as the lead actor in Semantic Error, a live-action adaptation of a popular South Korean BL web novel. In the series, he portrayed the character of Jang Jae-young, starring opposite DKZ member Park Jae-chan, who played his character's love interest, Chu Sang-woo. The web drama gained significant popularity, becoming a breakthrough role for Park Seo-ham. Reflecting his commitment to his acting career, Npio Entertainment announced on March 7, 2022, that they had signed an exclusive contract with Park Seo-ham, solidifying his new professional path ahead of his mandatory military enlistment. He is also slated to appear as Jung Cheon in the television series The Murky Stream, which is scheduled for release in 2025.

5.1. Military Service

As a South Korean citizen, Park Seo-ham was required to fulfill his mandatory military service. He enlisted on March 10, 2022, beginning his service as a social worker. After completing his duties, Park Seo-ham was officially discharged from his military service on December 9, 2023, marking his return to civilian and professional life.
