Park Se-jik was born on May 25, 1989, and is a citizen of South Korea. His name in Hangul is 박세직Korean and in Hanja is 朴世直Korean.
3. Player Career
Park Se-jik's professional football career began in 2012, leading him through several prominent South Korean clubs where he contributed significantly as a midfielder, including stints with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, Incheon United, and Asan Mugunghwa FC, before settling with Chungnam Asan FC.
3.1. Draft and Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors
Park Se-jik began his professional career after being selected as the first-round pick by Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in the 2012 K League Draft. In his debut season in 2012, he made 15 appearances for Jeonbuk. On November 20, 2013, he scored his first professional goal in a match against FC Seoul. During the 2013 season, he recorded a total of 11 appearances and 1 goal. However, he did not feature in any matches during the 2014 season.
3.2. Incheon United
Ahead of the 2015 season, Park Se-jik transferred to Incheon United. He scored his first goal for Incheon on April 19, 2015, in a match against Ulsan Hyundai. In the 2015 season, he made 30 appearances for Incheon, contributing 4 goals and 2 assists. On March 13, 2016, he scored his first goal of the 2016 season against Jeju United. Later that season, on September 21, 2016, he scored a crucial goal against Pohang Steelers, leading his team to a 1-0 victory. He concluded the 2016 season with 27 appearances and 3 goals for Incheon.
3.3. Asan Mugunghwa FC and Military Service
In June 2017, Park Se-jik enlisted for mandatory military service and joined Asan Mugunghwa FC. He scored his first goal since enlisting on September 15, 2018, in a match against Gwangju FC. During the 2018 season, he played 20 matches for Asan, scoring 1 goal and providing 4 assists. He returned to his original club, Incheon United, before the start of the 2019 season. However, during the summer transfer window of 2019, Park Se-jik transferred back to Asan Mugunghwa FC, rejoining the team after just half a season. On November 3, 2019, he scored his first goal since returning to Asan in a match against Busan IPark.
