1. Early life and education
Lee Tae-hee was born on 16 June 1992. He pursued his education and developed his football career at Soongsil University, a prominent institution in South Korea known for its football program. He graduated from Soongsil University before beginning his professional career.
2. Club career
Lee Tae-hee has built his professional football career primarily in the K League, playing for several clubs including Seongnam FC, Daegu FC, and currently FC Anyang.
2.1. Seongnam FC
Lee Tae-hee initially joined Seongnam FC as a free agent in 2015. He made his professional debut in the K League on 10 May 2015, in a league match against Pohang Steelers. Later that season, on 29 November 2015, he scored his first professional goal against Jeju United FC. This decisive goal, a dramatic winning strike in the 43rd minute of the second half, was assisted by Park Yong-ji. In his debut season with Seongnam FC, Lee Tae-hee made a total of 13 appearances in the league and scored 1 goal.
He formally joined the club in January 2016. In 2016, Lee Tae-hee also made his AFC Champions League debut on 15 March, playing in a match against Bình Dương.
2.2. Daegu FC
Ahead of the 2022 season, Lee Tae-hee transferred to Daegu FC. He played for the club during that season before moving on.
2.3. FC Anyang
Before the start of the 2023 season, Lee Tae-hee completed a transfer to FC Anyang. He has been an active member of the club since his arrival, wearing the number 32 jersey, and continues to contribute to the team in the K League 2.
