Joo Ye-rim (주예림Joo Ye-rimKorean) is a South Korean child actress born on October 11, 2011. She began her acting career in 2018 with the television series Mistress and the historical drama film Monstrum. She gained notable recognition for her roles in the 2019 film The House of Us as Yu Jin and the family drama Mother of Mine as Jeong Da-bin. Her performance in Mother of Mine earned her the Female Youth Acting Award at the 2019 KBS Drama Awards.
2. Career
Joo Ye-rim's acting career began in 2018. She debuted in the television series Mistress, where she played the daughter of the female protagonist. In the same year, she appeared in the historical drama film Monstrum as the child version of Myung.
In 2019, Joo Ye-rim achieved a breakthrough with the film The House of Us, which was described as a "brilliant journey of three neighborhood musketeers who directly intervened to solve 'family' problems instead of relying on adults." That same year, she also featured in the KBS family drama Mother of Mine as Jeong Da-bin, the daughter of one of the female lead characters. For her performance in Mother of Mine, she was awarded the Female Youth Acting Award at the 2019 KBS Drama Awards.
Her career continued to advance in 2020 when she portrayed the young Seo Hyun-ju in the television series Men Are Men, a role for which she received a nomination for the Best Young Actor award at the 2020 KBS Drama Awards.
In 2022, she appeared in the Netflix original web series The Sound of Magic, playing the younger version of the female protagonist, Yoon Ah-yi. She was also cast in the film Cassiopeia, portraying Gina, the daughter of a character diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Continuing her active roles, she also featured in the 2023 tvN drama Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 as Juk Hyang, and the Disney+ series Race as the child version of Heo Eun.
