Jessica Sonya DiCicco (born June 10, 1980) is an American actress known for her extensive voice work in animated television series and video games. She is recognized for voicing characters such as Maggie Pesky in The Buzz on Maggie, Flame Princess in Adventure Time, Lucy Loud and Lynn Loud Jr. in The Loud House, and Annie Bramley in It's Pony. DiCicco began her career as the announcer for Nickelodeon's educational channel Noggin, later becoming the announcer for the Nick Jr. Channel. Her contributions to animation have earned her a Daytime Emmy nomination for her role as Malina in The Emperor's New School.
2. Early life
Jessica Sonya DiCicco was born in Los Angeles, California, on June 10, 1980. She is the daughter of television and film actor Bobby Di Cicco. Her family relocated to New York City when she was young, and she was raised on the Upper West Side. DiCicco began her acting career at an early age. In second grade, she was selected by Marlo Thomas to appear in the ABC special Free to Be... A Family. She was also cast by director Francis Ford Coppola in The Godfather Part III as an unnamed child. Additionally, she had a guest role in the television series Kate and Allie and a small role as young Cindy Zagarella in the 1993 film Household Saints. At 15, DiCicco worked as a photographer for a cover story about prep school gangsters in New York magazine, published in December 1996.
3. Education and early career
DiCicco attended the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, with an interest in learning more about production, having primarily focused on on-camera work with Nickelodeon. Before starting college, she met Newhouse alumnus and Nickelodeon producer Mike Pecoriello, who offered her the opportunity to be the voice of a new educational channel called Noggin. She accepted the role, even recording promotional material from Syracuse while she was a student. She continued to be the voice of Noggin throughout her college years, graduating in 2002. She also provided the voice for Erin on Cartoon Network's Miguzi.
In addition to her voice work, DiCicco made live-action appearances early in her career. In 1998, she appeared in the NBC miniseries Witness to the Mob and in the television film In the Nick of Time. She also worked on stage with several repertory companies. In 1999, DiCicco and her co-stars in the Nickelodeon pilot Bus No. 9 were nominated for a Young Artist Award, but lost to The Sweetest Gift.

In The Mighty B!, she voiced Gwen Wu. She appeared as Tiacapari in The Secret Saturdays and multiple characters like Bradley, Ramona, and Samuel in The Penguins of Madagascar. Her work in Random! Cartoons saw her voice Smart Alec, Gloom, and Fuzzy Animal across different episodes.
DiCicco's widespread recognition grew with her role as Flame Princess in Adventure Time, where she was a main character from season three onwards. Her recent roles include Maggie Pesky in Chibiverse.
