Further expanding his filmography, Wright took on the role of Colt Morgan in Highway to Dhampus (2014) and Mason James Riley in I Am Alone (2015). In 2018, he played Rob in The Pinch. He later reprised a character named Lee Miller in the 2020 science fiction horror film Underwater. More recently, he appeared as a Deputy in Paranormal Activity: Next of Kin (2021) and as Captain David Andrews in Land of Bad (2023).

Gunner Wright is widely recognized for his significant contributions to the video game industry, primarily through his portrayal of the protagonist Isaac Clarke in the Dead Space series. In 2021, Wright confirmed his return to the role of Isaac Clarke for the 2023 remake of the original Dead Space, much to the anticipation of fans.
