Genta Omotehara was born on February 28, 1996, in Anan City, Tokushima Prefecture, Japan. His football journey began at Anan FC Junior Youth. He then joined the Vissel Kobe U-18 team from 2011 to 2013, where he developed his skills.

During his third year with Vissel Kobe U-18, Omotehara wore the coveted number 10 jersey. He played a crucial role in the team's success, notably scoring one goal in the final match of the 21st J-Youth Cup against Sanfrecce Hiroshima FC Youth. This contribution helped Vissel Kobe U-18 secure the championship title.
