1. Early life and youth career
Genta Omotehara was born on February 28, 1996, in Anan City, Tokushima Prefecture, Japan. His football journey began at Anan FC Junior Youth. He then joined the Vissel Kobe U-18 team from 2011 to 2013, where he developed his skills.

During his third year with Vissel Kobe U-18, Omotehara wore the coveted number 10 jersey. He played a crucial role in the team's success, notably scoring one goal in the final match of the 21st J-Youth Cup against Sanfrecce Hiroshima FC Youth. 2. Professional club career

Omotehara joined Ehime FC in 2014, marking the start of his professional career. He made his J.League debut on March 9, 2014, in a J2 League match against Mito HollyHock at Ningineer Stadium. Shortly after, he scored his first J.League goal on March 22, 2014, in a J2 League fixture against Tokyo Verdy at the same venue. During his time at Ehime FC, from March 2014 to 2015, he was also registered as a member of the J.League U-22 Selection squad.
2.2. Shonan Bellmare
On December 19, 2016, Omotehara completed a permanent transfer to Shonan Bellmare. He played for the club during the 2017 and 2018 seasons. In 2017, he was part of the squad that won the J2 League title.
2.3. Tokushima Vortis
Omotehara's tenure at Shonan Bellmare ended on August 20, 2018, when he was loaned to Tokushima Vortis on a developmental transfer. This loan move was later made permanent on December 27, 2018. He remained with Tokushima Vortis until the end of the 2020 season.
2.4. Matsumoto Yamaga FC
Following his time at Tokushima Vortis, Omotehara made a permanent move to Matsumoto Yamaga FC on December 28, 2020. He played for Matsumoto Yamaga FC from the 2021 season until July 2022.
