1. Overview
Julian Micevski, renowned by his ring name Ethan Page, is a Canadian professional wrestler currently signed with WWE, where he performs on the NXT brand. He is a former one-time NXT Champion. Prior to his tenure in WWE, Page gained significant recognition for his time in Impact Wrestling, All Elite Wrestling (AEW), and Ring of Honor (ROH). A notable tag team specialist, he has secured multiple tag team championships across various independent promotions, most prominently with Josh Alexander as The North. Their accomplishments include two reigns as Impact World Tag Team Champions, with their initial reign establishing the record for the longest in the title's history at 380 days. In AEW, he was a prominent member of the team "Men of the Year" alongside Scorpio Sky. Micevski also owns and operates his own professional wrestling promotion, Alpha-1 Wrestling (A1).
2. Early Life and Background
Julian Micevski was born on September 20, 1989. A Canadian national, he began his professional wrestling training in 2006 under the guidance of Rip Impact and Ernie Moore. Micevski has stated that much of his early experience was gained by traveling on the road with Michael Elgin, whom he considers his mentor for that formative period. Outside of wrestling, Micevski is married and has two children. He holds black belts in both karate and taekwondo. He is of Macedonian and Serbian descent and identifies as an Eastern Orthodox Christian.
3. Professional Wrestling Career
Ethan Page's professional wrestling career spans nearly two decades, characterized by his versatile performances across numerous promotions, significant tag team successes, and recent ascendance to championship status in WWE.
3.1. Early Career (2006-2012)
Julian Micevski commenced his professional wrestling training in 2006 under the tutelage of Rip Impact and Ernie Moore. He often credits Michael Elgin as his mentor, stating that a significant portion of his early experience was gained by traveling with Elgin on the road. Micevski made his official professional wrestling debut on November 12, 2006, at a Pure Wrestling Association event held in Brantford, Ontario. Performing under the ring name Julian Logan, he competed in a four-way match that was ultimately won by Indy Soldier.
3.2. Independent Circuit (2013-2024)
Page extensively competed on the independent wrestling circuit, achieving significant success in various promotions. On December 30, 2013, he formed a tag team with Michael Elgin known as Men of the Year (MOTY). They captured the AAW Tag Team Championship at the "One Twisted Christmas" event by defeating Kung Fu Manchu (Louis Lyndon and Marion Fontaine) and Zero Gravity (Brett Gakiya and CJ Esparza).

In 2014, Page began wrestling for Evolve. At Evolve 84, he challenged Zack Sabre Jr. for the Evolve Championship but was unsuccessful. During the summer of 2017, Page teamed with ACH to form the Troll Boyz. On September 22 at Evolve 92, the Troll Boyz defeated the Lethal Enforcers (Anthony Henry and JD Drake) to win the Evolve Tag Team Championship. However, their reign was short-lived, as they lost the titles the following day at Evolve 93 to Doom Patrol (Chris Dickinson and Jaka). Page subsequently departed from Evolve on September 28.
On May 22, 2015, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG) held its annual one-night Dynamite Duumvirate Tag Team Title Tournament (DDT4). Page participated in this tournament alongside Josh Alexander, reforming their previous team under the name Monster Mafia. In the first round, they defeated World's Cutest Tag Team (Joey Ryan and Candice LeRae) to simultaneously win the PWG World Tag Team Championship. Monster Mafia were eliminated from the tournament and lost the titles to the Beaver Boys (Alex Reynolds and John Silver) in the second round.
3.3. Ring of Honor (2014)
In 2014, Micevski made several appearances for Ring of Honor (ROH) under the ring name Ethan Gabriel Owens. On April 18, he secured a victory over Zizou Middoux in a Future of Honor match. However, on April 25, in a match taped for ROH TV, he was defeated by Silas Young. During the "Road to the Best in the World" events, Page faced Tommaso Ciampa on June 6 in Carbondale, Illinois, suffering a defeat. The following night, on June 7, in Collinsville, Illinois, he defeated Middoux in the opening match.
On July 18, during night two of the Summer Heat Tour in Cincinnati, Ohio, Page competed in a four-way match which was won by R.D. Evans and also included Matt Taven and Moose. On July 26, in a match taped for ROH TV, Page teamed with his long-time tag team partner Josh Alexander as Monster Mafia, but they were defeated by the then-ROH World Tag Team Champions, ReDRagon (Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish). His stint in ROH during this period culminated on September 6 at All Star Extravaganza VI, where Monster Mafia were part of a four corner survival tag team match alongside Moose and Evans, The Decade (Adam Page and B. J. Whitmer), and Caprice Coleman and Takaaki Watanabe.
3.4. Impact Wrestling (2017-2021)
Julian Micevski's time in Impact Wrestling saw him debut under a unique character before establishing himself as a significant tag team force and a prominent heel.
3.4.1. Early Appearances (2017-2018)
Micevski made his initial Impact Wrestling debut on the November 30, 2017, episode of Impact!, portraying a character named Chandler Park. This character was introduced as the storyline cousin of Joseph Park. On the January 4, 2018, episode of Impact!, Park won his first match with the company, defeating Jon Bolen. However, his tenure as Chandler Park was short-lived; he was written off television on the January 18 episode of Impact! after being attacked by Kongo Kong as part of Kong's storyline feud with Abyss.
Micevski later returned to Impact Wrestling using his established ring name, Ethan Page, and a new heel persona. His return occurred on the October 4, 2018, episode of Impact!, where he interfered in a match between Rich Swann and Matt Sydal, costing Swann the match and aligning himself with Sydal. This solidified his re-establishment as a villainous character. On the October 18 episode of Impact!, Page made his in-ring debut as Ethan Page, defeating Trevor Lee. At Bound for Glory in October 2018, Page and Sydal were defeated by Swann and Willie Mack. Their alliance concluded in early 2019 when Sydal departed from Impact Wrestling.
3.4.2. The North (2019-2021)
On the April 12, 2019, episode of Impact!, Ethan Page reunited with his former independent circuit tag team partner, the debuting Josh Alexander. They reformed their previous team, Monster Mafia, now renamed The North, and made their in-ring debut as a duo, defeating jobbers El Reverso and Sheldon Jean.

On July 5 at the Bash at the Brewery 1 event, The North achieved a significant milestone by defeating The Latin American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) to win the Impact World Tag Team Championship for the first time. Their initial reign was historic, lasting an impressive 380 days, making it the longest in the title's history. They eventually lost the titles to The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin). The North, however, quickly regained the championships at Bound for Glory later that year, but their second reign was brief, as they lost them again a few weeks later to The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson).
As Page prepared for his departure from Impact Wrestling due to his contract expiring, a storyline was developed where he began to blame Alexander for their losses, leading to the eventual breakup of The North. Page's final appearance in Impact Wrestling was at Hard to Kill in January 2021, where he was metaphorically "killed" by his alter-ego, The Karate Man, in a unique cinematic match designed to write him off television.
3.5. All Elite Wrestling / Return to ROH (2021-2024)
Following his departure from Impact Wrestling, Julian Micevski signed a three-year contract with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), marking a new chapter in his career.
3.5.1. Men of the Year; American Top Team (2021-2022)
Ethan Page made his highly anticipated AEW debut on March 7, 2021, at Revolution, as the mystery entrant in the Face of the Revolution ladder match. Despite a losing effort in the match, his arrival in the company was officially confirmed.
On the March 29, 2021, episode of Dark: Elevation, Page formed an alliance with Scorpio Sky, and the duo soon became known as the Men of the Year. They quickly engaged in a high-profile feud with Darby Allin and Sting. The rivalry culminated in a tag team match at Double or Nothing in May 2021, where Page and Sky were defeated. On the June 18 episode of Dynamite (taped June 6), the Men of the Year defeated Allin in a two-on-one handicap match. However, the feud concluded on the July 14 episode of Dynamite, when Page was defeated by Allin in a dramatic coffin match.
The Men of the Year subsequently aligned themselves with Dan Lambert of American Top Team in August 2021. From that point, Page and Sky frequently accompanied Lambert during his promotional speeches. This alliance led to a feud with The Inner Circle's Chris Jericho and Jake Hager. A match was set for the September 24 episode of Rampage, where the Men of the Year emerged victorious. The feud with The Inner Circle continued for another month. On the October 27 episode of Dynamite, Page unsuccessfully challenged Sammy Guevara for the AEW TNT Championship. The storyline reached its conclusion at Full Gear, where the Men of the Year teamed with American Top Team to face The Inner Circle in a Minneapolis Street Fight, suffering a loss.
3.5.2. The Firm and Storyline with Matt Hardy (2022-2023)
In the lead-up to All Out in 2022, Ethan Page was recruited by Stokely Hathaway to join a new faction alongside Lee Moriarty, Colten Gunn, Austin Gunn, and W. Morrissey. On the September 14 episode of Dynamite, this group was revealed to be "The Firm," serving as MJF's "retainer team," tasked with assisting him when needed. On the October 14 episode of Rampage, Page defeated Isiah Kassidy of Private Party, an event that led to Matt Hardy and Private Party joining The Firm. In the following weeks, as part of the storyline, Matt Hardy was banned from using his signature "Hardy" theme music and his finishing move, the Twist of Fate.
On the February 3, 2023, episode of Rampage, Page, Hardy, and Kassidy unsuccessfully challenged The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks) for the AEW World Trios Championship. Page then entered a brief feud with Hook, which culminated in an unsuccessful challenge for the FTW Championship in an FTW Rules match. The storyline with Matt Hardy escalated on the April 12 episode of Dynamite, when Page and The Firm assaulted Hardy, Kassidy, and Hook, prompting the return of Jeff Hardy to make the save. This prolonged narrative reached a turning point on May 28 at the Double or Nothing Buy In, where Page and The Firm were defeated by The Hardys, Kassidy, and Hook. Following this match, Matt Hardy gained ownership of Page's contract. On the June 30 episode of Rampage, Page interceded to prevent Q. T. Marshall and Johnny TV from further harming Matt Hardy, taking a thrust kick from Johnny TV in the process. This act marked Ethan Page's face turn, establishing him as a fan favorite.
3.5.3. Final Matches and Departure (2023-2024)
On the July 1, 2023, episode of Collision, Ethan Page confronted MJF and slapped the microphone out of his hand, compelling MJF to put the AEW World Championship on the line. Page was ultimately unsuccessful in winning the title.
Page made his return to Ring of Honor (ROH), which by then had become a sister promotion of AEW, on the September 14, 2023, episode, where he defeated Griff Garrison. In the following weeks, Page was scouted as a potential client by Mark Sterling, but he declined the invitation, initiating a feud with Sterling's client, Tony Nese. The official contract signing for their match took place on the December 7 episode of ROH Wrestling, where Sterling stipulated that the match would be an "I Quit" match at Final Battle.
Page's final match in AEW took place on the December 5 episode of Collision, where he was defeated by Kenny Omega. Coincidentally, this also marked Omega's final match for over a year. Page continued to make a few appearances in ROH between December 2023 and February 2024, including defeating Nese in the "I Quit" match at Final Battle. His last appearance in Ring of Honor was on the February 10, 2024, edition of Ring of Honor on Honor Club, where he defeated Anthony Henry, before ultimately departing from both promotions. In a July 2024 interview, Page characterized his tenure in AEW as "chaotic and unorganized," contrasting it with his subsequent experiences.
3.6. WWE (2024-present)
Ethan Page made a surprise WWE debut on the May 28, 2024, episode of NXT. He immediately made an impact by attacking NXT Champion Trick Williams and revealing himself as the mastermind behind prior attacks on Noam Dar and Oro Mensah of Meta-Four, thereby establishing himself as a prominent heel character. The following week, he officially signed with the NXT brand and, as part of his contract terms, received an immediate title match against Williams for the NXT Championship at NXT Battleground. However, he failed to capture the title on this occasion.
On the June 18 episode of NXT, Page participated in a 25-man battle royal to determine the number one contender for the NXT Championship at NXT Heatwave. Early in the match, he was attacked by Mensah, resulting in both men exiting the ropes. Later that night, Page defeated the battle royal winner Je'Von Evans, claiming he was never officially eliminated from the battle royal. With Page, Evans, and Shawn Spears (who had defeated Williams in a non-title match) all having claims to a title shot, NXT General Manager Ava scheduled a fatal four-way match for the championship at NXT Heatwave on July 7. In a chaotic finish, Page inadvertently fell onto Evans after Williams delivered a Trick Shot (a running knee strike), pinning Evans to win the NXT Championship. This victory established a record for Page, as he won the championship in the quickest time (40 days) following his NXT debut. With this triumph, Page declared that his reign would be known as the "Era of Ego."
His first title defense occurred on the July 16 episode of NXT, where he successfully retained his championship against Dante Chen, though he was attacked by Mensah after the match. At Week 2 of NXT: The Great American Bash on August 6, Page again defeated Mensah, successfully defending his title and concluding their feud. At NXT No Mercy on September 1, Page successfully defended his title against TNA Wrestling's Joe Hendry, with Williams serving as the special guest referee. At Week 1 of NXT
On the October 15 episode of NXT, Page competed in a triple threat number one contender's match for the NXT Championship against Evans and Wes Lee, emerging victorious. The resulting title match took place at NXT Halloween Havoc on October 27, contested as a Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal Devil's Playground match, but Page failed to regain the title from Williams. On the November 26 episode of NXT, Page defeated Axiom to qualify for the Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline on December 7, though the match was ultimately won by Oba Femi. Two days later, he was unsuccessful in his bid to defeat NXT North American Champion Tony D'Angelo for the title. Heading into 2025, Page's feud with Je'Von Evans continued, culminating in a match at NXT Vengeance Day, where Page defeated Evans.
