1. Club career
Corey Jordan's professional football journey began with his hometown club, AFC Bournemouth, progressing through their youth system and eventually making his senior debut. He then embarked on a series of loan moves before being released by Bournemouth, leading to permanent transfers to other clubs and a return to Weymouth.
1.1. AFC Bournemouth and early career
Born in Bournemouth, Dorset, Jordan started his career with local side AFC Bournemouth at the age of seven in the youth team. His dedication led him to progress through the ranks, and in March 2016, he signed his first professional contract with the club. In September 2016, he made his professional debut in the EFL Cup, coming on as a substitute for Tyrone Mings in a 3-2 loss against Preston North End.
1.2. Initial loan spells
While still contracted to AFC Bournemouth, Jordan gained further first-team experience through various loan spells. In February 2019, he joined Eastbourne Borough on loan, playing in the National League South. Ahead of the 2019-20 season, Jordan had a trial with Southend United before being recalled by Bournemouth. Later, in October 2019, he joined Weymouth in the National League on a short-term loan. Following the expiration of his contract, Jordan was released by Bournemouth in May 2021.
1.3. Post-Bournemouth career
After his departure from AFC Bournemouth, Jordan continued his career with other clubs. In September 2021, he signed a one-year deal with National League North side Gloucester City. However, just one month into this deal, on 19 October 2021, Jordan moved to Aldershot Town, a club in the National League. On 16 July 2023, following his exit from Aldershot, Jordan agreed to join Gosport Borough, which saw him reunite with his former manager, Mark Molesley.
1.4. Permanent return to Weymouth
In June 2024, Corey Jordan made a permanent return to Weymouth, once again reuniting with manager Mark Molesley, marking a significant step in his career as he settled back with a club he had previously played for on loan.
